Why should I follow @dmpp?

      By following @dmpp you will enable (by default) not only those people you are now following, but also those you have @replied sometime to send you DMs.

      Have U not unfollowed a friend who U had conversations with, whom you many want to receive direct messages from?

DMs are not on my timeline. How does it enable me to have a nice timeline?

      If you follow someone, so that you may be able to receive DM from them (say @rememberthemilk), your timeline now includes their tweets, which U may not want. If you follow @dmpp, you can still receive DMs from them, without following them.

But why Direct Message? They can already @reply?

       Dont you realise it yourself? U get sms as well as email alerts for DMs.

       Just starting a party? Send DMs to people attending it: Rest assured, they will notice the message whether they are in front of the system, or on the way, or already there.

I could email to many people at once. Why would I DM so many people?

       Using @dmpp you can send Dms to many people at once, too; altho' by twitter you can't.

       All people now receive both DMs, emails, and SMSes.

I already control who I receive direct messages from, by following them. What benefit do I get by following @dmpp

        No. Twitter decides who U receive DMs from. You dont. Using twitter, U can only receive DMs from those who follow you. By following @dmpp U can configure who you want to receive DMs from.

    By default U can receive DMs from not only those you follow, but also those you @replied sometime. You can change that setting to be able to receive DMs from everyone or from only your followers.

Oh! Are there any people who are not able to send DMs right now?

       Yup. Bet you. Check this out: http://search.twitter.com/search?q=%22cant+dm%22 Each hour there are a few people who say, 'Cant DM you as U dont follow me'. With many people following this.
